Drive southward through the Burgundy region, stopping in medieval Beaune where you - ll enjoy your first tasting experience of the Burgundy wines. Join your elegant ship in Chalon-sur-Saône, then cruise gently on the Saône and Rhône Rivers. There are orientation walks in the picturesque towns of Mâcon and Tournon, as well as sightseeing with Local Guides in Lyon, France's gastronomic capital; Avignon with its bridge made famous by the popular song; and Arles, the capital of the Provence region.
