Begin your journey in Nashville, where you pick up your rental car and enjoy a full day at leisure. At the Country Music Hall of Fame, enjoy live entertainment, unique exhibits, and rare film of Country music legends. Next, head to Memphis, "Home of the Blues" and "Birthplace of Rock "n" Roll." Visit Sun Studio, where many legends" music careers were launched; spend time on Beale Street; and visit Elvis" Graceland and the Smithsonian's Rock n Soul Museum. Head south into the Mississippi Delta and stop in Clarksdale to visit the Delta Blues Museum. See the cabin where Muddy Waters grew up and learn about the people and culture of the Blues. See beautiful antebellum mansions in Natches, then on to the "Big Easy." The French Quarter is a good place to start exploring New Orleans. Also ride a streetcar along Canal Street to the French Market, enjoy a mule-drawn carriage ride, and, of course, be sure to sample the Creole and Cajun delicacies.
