Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to London.

Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of the day is free to explore this exciting capital city.

Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure There are many major sights included on today's morning sightseeing tour. Then, the rest of the day is free to explore or maybe shop at the world's most famous store, Harrod's. In the evening London theatre beckons! (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4 - London — Stratford — Coventry — York — Darlington Greetings from our Tour Director as we make our way through the Chiltern Hills to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. We continue to Coventry and see the ruins of the Cathedral, destroyed during World War II and the new cathedral. Then to York where our Tour Director takes us on a fascinating walking tour including the city walls, the "Shambles" and a Hidden Treasure! Finally we will have the chance to visit the beautiful Minster. We continue to our hotel for a Welcome Drink and dinner. (Continetal Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 5 - Darlington — Hadrian's Wall — Edinburgh After breakfast we travel north to see Hadrian's Wall. Then, through the Northumberland National Park and the ruins of Jedburgh Abbey before continuing to Edinburgh. On arrival, sightseeing with a local guide shows us Princes Street with its elegant shops, dominated by the imposing Castle,
the Royal Mile, views of Holyrood House and the Devil's seat. Then we visit the "new town" with its beautiful Georgian architecture, see the new Scottish Parliament buildings and enjoy a guided visit of the apartments inside Edinburgh Castle. (Full Breakfast)

Day 6 - Edinburgh — Lake District — Chester Area (Runcorn) First stop is Gretna Green, where traditionally, young couples would elope against their parents" wishes in a ceremony performed across the blacksmith's anvil. We cross into England and drive through the English Lake District to Grasmere, birthplace of the poet, William Wordsworth. Then along the shores of Lake Windermere, through scenery reminiscent of Wordsworth's magical poetry, to Liverpool, where our orientation tour takes in the refurbished docks, the Liver building and both Cathedrals. Tonight, we - ll enjoy a Farewell Dinner in our hotel. (Full Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)

Day 7 - Chester Area (Runcorn) — Wedgwood — London First stop, medieval Chester, where our walking tour will show us the famous "Rows" and the Cathedral. Next, our journey takes us into Staffordshire to visit the Wedgwood Pottery Centre. Time to pick up some bargains in fine china before returning to London. (Full Breakfast)

Day 8 - London — USA After breakfast, time to bid farewell to new-found friends and Britain on your return flight to America. (Buffet Breakfast)
