Day 1 - Board your overnight transatlantic flight. Day 2 - Arrival in Shannon, Ireland. To Bunratty. Transfer to your hotel. After checking in, free time to relax or sightsee. Lots to see and do within a short walk: the folk park, a "village" of thatched cottages, farmhouses, and shops depicting turn-of the-century Irish life; a complex of smart shops in which to browse; and perhaps a refreshment at famous "Durty Nelly's" Irish pub. This evening, a special Irish welcome: enjoy a traditional Irish night, a fun ceili in the setting of a village barn with dinner, wine, and entertainment all included. (D) Day 3 - Bunratty - Killarney. Depart by motorcoach for the Cli ffs of Moher . Enjoy panoramic views of the Clare coastline while passing through the sleepy villages of Kilkee and Kilrush before arriving in Killimer for the ferry to Tarbert. Arrive in Killarney; this evening enjoy dinner at your hotel. (FB,D) Day 4 - Killarney. Ring of Kerry Excursion. Follow the road known as the "Ring of Kerry" for a spectacular 100 mile panoramic drive around the island's southwestern tip. Take photos of the vistas of the Lakes of Killarney from Ladies View. Here mountains, valleys, lakes, and sea blend into a landscape that is often breathtaking beyond words. After lunch on your own, continue on to MUCKROSS HOUSE, situated close to the shores of Muckross Lake amidst the beautiful scenery of Killarney National Park. The house is a focal point within the park and is the ideal base from which to explore its terrain. This afternoon and evening are at leisure in Killarney. (FB,D) Day 5 - Killarney - Cork. Kiss the Blarney Stone and, as legend goes, you will be blessed with the gift of eloquence. Visit BLARNEY CASTLE before shopping at Blarney Woollen Mills. Next, make your way to THE QUEENSTOWN STORY in Cobh, which explains the strong linkage between Ireland and America. From 1848 to 1950, more than 6 million adults and children emigrated from Ireland to America. More than 2.5 million departed from Cobh, making it the single most important port of emigration. Overnight in Cork, Ireland's second-largest city. (FB,D) Day 6 - Cork'Southampton (Embarkation). An early morning transfer to Cork International Airport for your included flight to London Heathrow.
