London to Rome Highlights
Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight transatlantic flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) Time to relax after checking into your Trafalgar hotel.
Day 3 - London at leisure Today enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Britain's fascinating capital. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights) A warm welcome from your Tour Director as we drive to Dover for our short sea-crossing to Calais in
France. Here we drive across the Somme battlefields to Paris. (Continental Breakfast)
Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Our morning guided sightseeing tour includes views of Notre Dame Cathedral, Champs Elysées, Opera and Eiffel Tower. Tonight, why not enjoy dinner in a quaint bistro" (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris - Lake Lucerne An early start today as we drive through the Burgundy vineyards and past the remains of the Maginot
Line at Belfort to arrive in lakeside Lucerne. Orientation shows us the Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument before dinner at our hotel. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7 - Lake Lucerne — Florence (Prato) This morning you may wish to take a trip up a nearby mountain before we drive via the Gotthard Range and cross Lake Lugano into Italy. We continue past Milan before reaching the Apennine Mountains and soon reach the beautiful Renaissance city of Florence, for dinner and overnight stay. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 8 - Florence (Prato) — Rome (2 nights) This morning an orientation of the city of Italy's great artists includes a panoramic view from Piazzale Michelangelo as well as a stroll to Santa Croce Square. You will have the opportunity to visit one of the museums or to shop for exquisite workmanship in leather and gold before we depart for Rome - the 'Eternal City'. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 9 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Our guided sightseeing tour today features St. Peter's Basilica and includes views of the Colosseum and the Forum. After there's time at leisure, so don't forget to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain to ensure your safe return one day! (Buffet breakfast)
Day 10 - Rome - USA This morning after breakfast you are transferred to the airport for your return flight to the USA. (Buffet Breakfast)
