Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour. Then time at leisure. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4 - London — Paris (2 nights) First to Dover for our sea crossing to France. Then across Somme Battlefields to Paris where we enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director and fellow travellers. (Continental Breakfast)
Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Morning sightseeing with a local guide includes a drive along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe and on to the Eiffel Tower, to ascend to the second level. Next we view Notre Dame Cathedral and then we are free to explore this enchanting city further or perhaps to take an excursion to the Louvre Museum to see the "Mona Lisa" (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris — Lucerne An early start today as we drive through the Burgundy vineyards, seeing the castle of Châteauneuf. We continue past the remains of the Maginot line at Belfort to reach the Swiss border at Basel and on to the lakeside resort of Lucerne where orientation shows us the Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. After dinner, perhaps take a walk along the lakeshore. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7 - Lucerne — Florence After breakfast, maybe take a trip up a nearby mountain or shop for Swiss souvenirs. Later, we begin our drive via the Gotthard range into Ticino and cross Lake Lugano into Italy. Next we continue past Lake Como and Milan across the Lombardy Plain and the Apennine Hills. Soon we arrive in Tuscany and our hotel in Renaissance Florence. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner in a local trattoria. (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)
Day 8 - Florence - Rome (2 nights) Our guided walking tour shows us the Cathedral, the Baptistery, Giotto's Belltower, Signoria Square and visits Santa Croce church. Then time to shop for leather and gold, but also our Tour Director shows us a Hidden Treasure before we travel on to the "Eternal City", Rome. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 9 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Today on our guided sightseeing tour we visit St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican where we see the famous "Pieta" by Michelangelo. Then we cross the Tiber to ancient Rome where we overlook the Forum, Colosseum and the Circus Maximus. Tonight we all enjoy a Farewell Dinner together. (Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)
Day 10 - Rome — USA Return flight to the USA. (Buffet Breakfast)
