Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (6 nights) This is a great time of year to be in the British capital! Department stores such as Harrods and Selfridges are festively decorated. Oxford Street, Bond Street and Knightsbridge are sparkling with Christmas illuminations! Hot chestnuts are sold in the streets and Christmas Carols are sung by choirs in places like Covent Garden and Notting Hill. You will soon be in the festive spirit as you check in to your hotel. Free time this afternoon to 'drink in' the great atmosphere!
Day 3 - London sightseeing An included sightseeing tour shows you all the highlights of the city — the majesty of Westminster Abbey, the tribute to Lord Nelson in Trafalgar Square and of course we - ll say 'hello' to the Queen as we stop to take pictures of Buckingham Palace. In the evening, why not book into a Carol Concert at the Royal Festival or Albert Hall" Our London departure centre can arrange all sorts of activities for you! (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4 - London at leisure Time to do some shopping perhaps in the Christmas markets in Covent Garden or to window shop in pretty Walton street or St Christopher's Place. Alternatively you can visit one of London's great museums - they are relatively crowd free at this time of year — but still full of special exhibitions that it would be a shame to miss! (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 5 - Excursion to Stratford-upon-Avon There's a Dickensian feel about the town of Shakespeare's birth with its half-timbered houses and thatched cottages - We will visit the old house in which Shakespeare was born and see Anne Hathaway's cottage. Then a drive through the pretty area known as the Cotswolds with its rolling hills, old stone houses and charming villages, brings us back to London. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 - Excursion to Bath & Stonehenge And now Christmas Jane Austen style! We drive to nearby Bath where we visit the Abbey and Roman Baths — it's also a great place to browse in the charming small shops and boutiques in the Georgian streets. We return to London via eery Stonehenge — the stone circle on Salisbury plain. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 7 - London at leisure Time to do some last minute shopping, go to the theatre or take an excursion to the Tower of London. Maybe attend a Christmas service in Westminster Abbey — an experience never to be forgotten! (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 8 - Depart London Time to bid a fond farewell to England at the end of this festive week. (Buffet Breakfast)
