Spanish Discovery
Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to Madrid
Day 2 - Arrive Madrid You're met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight meet your Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner with tapas and a drink in a local restaurant. (Welcome Dinner)
Day 3 - Madrid — Toledo — Granada Off to Toledo where a walking tour using our audio system visits the church of Santo Tomé, the Synagogue and a steel workshop and views the Cathedral. Next to Puerto Lapice where, according to tradition, Don Quixote was dubbed Knight by one of the local innkeepers. We continue towards the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Granada. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 4 - Granada — Costa del Sol (2 nights) Morning sightseeing using our audio system takes us to visit the spectacular Alhambra Palace. Then we drive on towards the Costa del Sol. Maybe enjoy a fish dinner in a seaside restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 5 - Costa del Sol at leisure A full day to relax. Perhaps take a stroll along the promenade or take a trip to another continent — Morocco! (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 6 - Costa del Sol — Seville (2 nights) This morning after breakfast, we enjoy a scenic drive past the resorts of the Costa del Sol and on to La Linea. Later, we will cross to the Rock of Gibraltar with time for duty-free shopping. Next on through the Jerez countryside to Seville for two nights. Tonight we will enjoy a dinner of local specialities (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)
Day 7 - Seville sightseeing & at leisure Our morning sightseeing tour using our audio system highlights the Bell Tower and weather vane of
the Giralda. We also see the pools and fountains of the Maria Luisa Park and Columbus' tomb. And enjoy a walking tour of the Jewish quarter including the Casa de Pilatos. Tonight, why not enjoy the passion of a fiery Flamenco show" (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 8 - Seville — Cordoba — Madrid (2 nights) Today's drive takes us through the Valley of the Guadalquivir to the city of Cordoba. On our arrival our sightseeing tour using our audio system highlights the Mosque of the Caliphs and the medieval synagogue. After some free time, we make our way back to Madrid for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 9 - Madrid sightseeing & at leisure Today's sightseeing tour takes us to the Puerta del Sol, Cibeles Fountain and the Cervantes Monument. Among our highlights will be a guided visit to the world-famous Prado Art Gallery. We also include a walking tour of old Madrid visiting the Plaza Mayor. The your - e free to explore the city further or to take a trip to the nearby monastry palace at El Escorial. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 10 - Madrid - USA We transfer you to the airport for your return flight to America. (Buffet Breakfast)
