Wonders of St. Petersburg Novgorod & Moscow
DAY 1- Depart USA Overnight flight to St Petersburg.
Day 2 - St. Petersburg (3 nights) On arrival in St Petersburg you are transferred to your hotel. Then time to relax and unwind before meeting our Tour Director and fellow travellers tonight for a Welcome Drink before dinner in the hotel. (Dinner)
Days 3 & 4 - St. Petersburg sightseeing and at leisure This morning our sightseeing tour features the Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the statue of Peter the Great and a visit of the Peter and Paul fortress. During our time in St. Petersburg we will also enjoy an included visit to the Hermitage Museum to visit one of the world's largest and most valuable art collections. On one of our free evenings maybe visit a theatre for a Russian folklore show"(Buffet Breakfast)(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 5 - St. Petersburg — Novgorod This morning our journey takes us over the vast Russian plains to ancient Novgorod. On our arrival an orientation tour shows us the Kremlin Fort and grounds, Millennium monument and the St. Sophia Cathedral. Dinner is included at our hotel tonight. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 6 - Novgorod — Tver — Moscow (3 nights) This morning after breakfast a scenic drive will bring us to the picturesque village of Tver, where we will enjoy an included lunch. Then we continue to Klin, once home of Tchaikovsky, before arriving in Moscow for the first night of our three night stay. After an included dinner you may wish to enjoy a thrilling night out at the Moscow State Circus! (Buffet Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
Day 7 & 8 - Moscow sightseeing and at leisure On our first day we will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour which shows us Red Square, St. Basil's domed Cathedral and the Kremlin Walls. Later, enjoy time on your own to shop or further explore before returning to your hotel. Perhaps in your free time take an excursion to Zagorsk — a centre of ancient Russian art and architecture. During our stay in Moscow our Tour Director will show us a Hidden Treasure of this intriguing city. On our final night we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together with our Tour Director and fellow travellers in a local restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast )(Buffet Breakfast/ Farewell Dinner)
Day 9 - Moscow — USA Farewell to new-found friends as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight to America.(Buffet Breakfast)
