European Traveller
Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of your day is at leisure to perhaps head out and explore this exciting city.
Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour, then time is your own. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights) First to Dover for our sea crossing to France. Then across Somme Battlefields to Paris where we enjoy
a Welcome Dinner and drink in a lively brasserie on the Champs Elysées with our Tour Director.

Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Morning sightseeing with a local guide includes a drive along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe and on to the Eiffel Tower, to ascend to the second level. Next we view Notre Dame Cathedral and then enjoy a walking tour through the Luxembourg gardens enhanced by our audio system before free time perhaps to take an excursion to the Louvre. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris - Lucerne An early start today as we drive through the Burgundy vineyards, seeing the castle of Châteauneuf. We continue past the remains of the Maginot line at Belfort to reach the Swiss border at Basel and on to the lakeside resort of Lucerne where orientation shows us the Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument. After dinner, perhaps take a walk along the lakeshore.. (Buffet breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7 - Lucerne - Florence After breakfast, maybe take a trip up a nearby mountain or shop for Swiss souvenirs. Later, we begin our drive via the Gotthard Range into Ticino and cross Lake Lugano into Italy. Next we continue past Lake Como and Milan across the Lombardy Plain and the Apennine Hills. Soon arrive in Tuscany and our hotel in Renaissance Florence. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner in a local trattoria (Buffet breakfast/ Highlight dinner)
Day 8 - Florence - Rome (2 nights) Our morning sightseeing tour on foot with a local guide using our audio system shows us the Cathedral, the Baptistry, Giotto's Bell-tower, the Signoria Square and visits the Basilica of Santa Croce. Then there's time to explore or shop for quality leather goods and gold jewellery. Later, we travel to the 'Eternal City, Rome. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 9 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Today our guided sightseeing which incudes a walking tour comes to life with our special audio system and visits St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican seeing the famous 'Pieta' by Michelangelo. Then onto Piazza Venezia to see the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and continue to the Forum and Colosseum and the Circus Maximus. Later free time to maybe visit the Sistine Chapel. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 10 - Rome - USA Return flight to the USA. (Buffet Breakfast)
