European Spotlight
Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 - Arrive London (2 nights) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel the rest of your day is at leisure.
Day 3 - London sightseeing & at leisure Many major sights are included on our morning sightseeing tour. Then time is your own. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights) We cross the channel to Calais and across World War I Battlefields to Paris before a Welcome Dinner and drink in a lively Bistro. (Continental Breakfast/ Welcome Dinner)
Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Paris sightseeing & at leisure Morning sightseeing includes the main landmarks and the Eiffel Tower to ascend to the second level. Next, views of Notre Dame and a walking tour though the Luxembourg gardens. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris - Beaune - Geneva (2 nights) Through France and wine producing Burgundy to medieval Beaune. Then into Switzerland to Geneva. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 7 - Geneva orientation & at leisure The main sights are highlighted on our orientation tour. We will also enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town and Reformation Monument. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 8 - Geneva - Nice (2 nights) We drive to Nice. Tonight, after an orientation tour, we enjoy dinner in a local restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast/ Highlight Dinner)
Day 9 - Cannes & Perfumery Excursion First stop, jet-set Cannes. Then, visit the Fragonard Perfumery before returning to Nice. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 10 - Nice - Monaco - Pisa - Tuscan Hills (Montecatini) First to Monaco, seeing Princess Grace's tomb. Then to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and on to Montecatini. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 11 - Montecatini - Florence - Venice (Lido.) (2 nights) Off to Florence for our walking tour with a local guide, taking in the main sights, plus views from Piazzale Michelangelo.Then on to our hotel on the elegant Venice Lido, home of the Film Festival. (Buffet Breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 12 - Venice sightseeing & at leisure We enjoy a canal cruise by private launch to St. Mark's Square viewing the Bridge of Sighs. We also visit a glass-blowing factory. Later visit one of the myriad islands in the Lagoon and enjoy a lunch of fish specialities. (Buffet breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 13 - Venice (Lido) - Rome (2 nights) We pass Orvieto and on to the 'Eternal City', Rome. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 14 - Rome sightseeing & at leisure Enjoy a guided visit of St. Peter's Basilica,and a walking tour enhanced by our audio system featuring the Forum; Colosseum and Circus Maximus. Tonight, don - t forget to throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure your return to Rome. (Buffet breakfast)
Day 15 - Rome - USA After breakfast it's 'buon viaggio' as we transfer you to Rome Fiumicino Airport for your return flight to America. (Buffet breakfast)
