As the name implies, this vacation is a sample of some of the major highlights of Europe. Start your spectacular European trip with two nights in London, where a sightseeing tour with a Local Guide includes a visit to St. Paul's Cathedral and time to watch the Changing of the Guard (if held). Next, board the Eurostar train to Brussels, followed by a comfortable drive to Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, enjoy a sightseeing tour aboard a leisurely canal cruise. Drive through Germany's Rhineland and Black Forest. Stop to visit the famous cathedral in Cologne and take pictures of Heidelberg Castle. Of course, a cruise on the romantic Rhine River is included. From Heidelberg, travel to Switzerland and stop at Rhine Falls on the Swiss border. In Switzerland, spend two nights in charming lakeside Lucerne for a walking tour and plenty of time to relax. You can shop, climb a mountain by cable car, take a cruise on the fjord-like lake, or simply rest.
