Day 1 - Depart USA Overnight flight to Vienna.

Day 2 - Arrive Vienna (2 nights) On arrival at Vienna airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. After your hotel check-in there's time to relax and unwind. This evening, enjoy a Welcome dinner and drink in a tavern with your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions. (Welcome Dinner)

Day 3 - Vienna sightseeing & at leisure After breakfast, highlights of this Austrian capital are revealed on our morning guided sightseeing tour; from the Opera to the Hofburg, from St. Stephen's Cathedral to the Parliament we also include a walking tour taking us to the oldest part of the city "Am Hof". Then time at leisure perhaps to visit the Prater amusement park. Later, why not take in a concert of Strauss music or a little Opera" (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4 - Vienna — Györ — Budapest (2 nights) Our morning drive takes us across the Transdanubian Plain to the very Eastern edge of Europe and the border with Hungary at Hegyeshalom. We stop in the Roman founded town of Györ on the shores of the Danube before arriving in the twin cities of Buda and Pest on either side of this famous romantic river. This evening, why not admire the city from the Danube itself on an illuminated boat cruise" (Buffet Breakfast) 

Day 5 - Budapest sightseeing & at leisure Our sightseeing tour with a local guide includes a walking tour in Old Buda highlighting the Fisherman's Bastion. with its views across the Danube and the Parliament buildings to the mighty Synagogue and Heroes' Square. The rest of the day is free. Perhaps venture into old Hungary on an excursion to St. Andre. This evening, we enjoy a dinner of Hungarian specialities to the accompaniment of local musicians (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 6 - Budapest — Slovakia — Krakow (2 nights) This morning our journey takes us to the Slovakian border and through green hills to Poland. From here we continue through the foothills of the Tatra Mountains on our approach to the ancient town of Krakow for our two-night stay. This evening we enjoy a speciality dinner in a local restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 7 - Krakow sightseeing & at leisure Morning sightseeing reveals the Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill. We also delight in a walking tour through the medieval Old Town to visit the Cloth Hall and the 14th century Mariacki Church. Later, don't miss the opportunity of visiting the astonishing Wieliczka salt mine. Tonight, why not enjoy a Polish Polka party" (Buffer Breakfast / Dinner))

Day 8 - Krakow — Berlin (2 nights) An early departure as we take the highway in the direction of Wroclaw, before crossing the border into Germany. Then we continue past Cottbus and through the Spreewald Forest on our approach to the exciting city of Berlin, Germany's re-instated capital for two nights. (Buffet Breakfast) 

Day 9 - Berlin sightseeing & at leisure Today's sightseeing tour features highlights of a united Berlin and includes a visit to the Checkpoint Charlie Museum as well as viewing the Reichstag Building, the Tiergarten, and the Brandenburg Gate. We drive along the 'Unter den Linden' Boulevard and see the German State Opera House before time at leisure. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 10 - Berlin — Dresden — Prague (2 nights) This morning we head south to the city which is known as Florence on the Elbe, the Renaissance city of Dresden. Here orientation includes the Saxon Wall, Semper Opera and 18th century Cathedral. Finally, we cross into the Czech Republic where we stop at Teresienstadt, site of a large Jewish Ghetto during World War II, to visit the National Cemetery. We make our way to Prague, one of Europe's most exciting cities since the coming of the Velvet revolution. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner) 

Day 11 - Prague sightseeing & at leisure Our morning walking tour of this golden University city highlights Hradçany Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Astronomical Clock, St. Charles' Bridge and the Old Town Square. Then you've time on your own to shop for Bohemian crystal or to take a cruise on Smetana's Vltava River. This evening, we enjoy dinner in a typical restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 12 - Prague — Tabor — Vienna After breakfast this morning our first stop is at Tabor, the town once the headquarters of the 15th century religious reformer, John Huss. Then past the carp lakes at Trebon and into Southern Bohemia to the Austrian border town of Schrems. From here our journey takes us back to Vienna, where we spend the final night of our tour. Why not enjoy a romantic dinner in the Vienna Woods as a farewell to this tour and your new-found friends" (Buffet Breakfast) 

Day 13 - Vienna — USA This morning after breakfast, there's time to bid farewell to your Tour Director and fellow companions as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight to America at the end of this wonderful adventure! (Buffet Breakfast)
