This romantic vacation takes you through Eastern Europe. Start your trip in Vienna, Austria's capital, with a guided sightseeing tour and welcome dinner. From Vienna, once the center of the mighty Habsburg empire, travel via scenic Semmering Pass, through Styria and Carinthian lakes and resorts and via the Alps to Ljubljana in Slovenia. In Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia, a sightseeing tour features a visit to magnificent St. Nicholas Cathedral. Then enter Croatia, where you stay for a week. Explore the Dalmatian coast and Split, Croatia's second-largest city. On your guided walking tour of Split, visit the 4th-century Diocletian's Palace, a well-preserved fortress and a living part of the Old Town. Enter Bosnia-Herzegovina and visit Medjugorje, a famous pilgrimage town. Next is Dubrovnik, where you stay for three nights.
