EUROPEAN INTRODUCTION W/ LONDON EXTENSION

Day 1 - Thu. BOARD YOUR OVERNIGHT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.

Day 2 - Fri. ARRIVAL IN LONDON, ENGLAND. Check into your hotel. Uniformed Hosts are available to help you make the most of your stay.

Day 3 - Sat. LONDON. A full day to savor our rich program of optional activities: take a panoramic tour of London's landmarks, visit the Tower of London, or choose an excursion to Windsor Castle. Tonight maybe a leisurely cruise on the River Thames" (B)

Day 4 - Sun. LONDON-BRUSSELS, BELGIUM. Leave London in the early morning and head through the lush English countryside to the Channel port, where you board your ferry for the Continent. Here your Tour Director and comfortable coach wait to take you to Brussels for an overnight. (B)

Day 5 - Mon. BRUSSELS-BLACK FOREST AREA, GERMANY. Brussels, the modern center of the European Union, still has Old-World charm. Enjoy the sights, including the Grand - Place and the Mannekin Pis, on your morning city orientation. Later, travel south via Heidelberg for a stop, then through the delightful scenery of the Black Forest for an overnight. (B,D)

Day 6 - Tue. BLACK FOREST-LAKE TITISEE-RHINE FALLS-LIECHTENSTEIN-LAKE LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND. Today's itinerary is studded with quite a few highlights. Travel into the heart of the Black Forest for a stop to admire the small but lovely Lake Titisee. Further south into Switzerland to see the mighty Rhine Falls. Next, eastwards into the tiny but hugely wealthy Principality of Liechtenstein for a stop in its capital, Vaduz. By evening you - ll be in the Lake Lucerne area for two overnights. (B,D)

Day 7 - Wed. LUCERNE. Your visit takes in the impressive city walls, a covered wooden bridge, ornate patrician houses lining cobblestone streets, and the Lion Monument. Don - t miss the boat trip on the fjord-like lake. A grand selection of optional activities completes the day: a cable car ride to the 10,000-foot summit of Mount Titlis, a typical folklore evening, and, of course, time to shop for that very Swiss watch. (B)

Day 8 - Thu. LAKE LUCERNE-INTERLAKEN-LAUSANNE. Start the day by driving over the scenic Brünig Pass to Brienz and its sparkling lake. After some sightseeing in beautiful Interlaken, continue to Gruyère for a stop. On to Lake Geneva for a guided visit of Chillon Castle right on its shores. Overnight in Lausanne. (B,D)

Day 9 - Fri. LAUSANNE-PARIS, FRANCE. Travel through Burgundy to pretty Beaune. Then on the expressway northwards to Paris. Tonight's optional cabaret show is a must. (B)

Day 10 - Sat. PARIS. Included sightseeing with a local expert of many of the best-known Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opéra, Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramid near the Louvre, the Invalides, and Champs Elysées. Optional excursions are also available to the Palace and Gardens of Versailles and, to celebrate the success of your tour, a French farewell dinner might be just the ticket. (B)

Day 11 - Sun. PARIS-LONDON, ENGLAND. Relax and let the countryside whiz by on the road north to the coast, where you board your Channel ferry. Through Kent return to London for an evening arrival. (B)

Day 12 - Mon. YOUR HOMEBOUND FLIGHT FROM LONDON ARRIVES THE SAME DAY. (B)
