(Fri., Dec. 19 & Sat., Dec. 20) Board your ROCKY MOUNTAINEER train for a 2-day, all-daylight, classic rail journey featuring onboard holiday festivities and live musical entertainment. Travel through the land of a million Christmas trees in Fraser Valley, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and postcard-perfect winter scenery. Arrive in Kamloops for the night. Next day, continue on the train into the mighty Canadian Rockies over Rogers Pass, through Kicking Horse Canyon and Yoho National Park's Spiral Tunnels, and past magnificent glaciers into BANFF NATIONAL PARK. Perhaps take a sleigh ride, do some snowshoeing, ice skate on Lake Louise, or enjoy stargazing by a nighttime fire. (B,D) Day 7 - Lake Louise - Calgary. (Tue., Dec. 23) Travel to Calgary for a sightseeing tour of the major sights, including Stampede Park and Saddledome Stadium.
