Great Australian Adventure
DAYS 1 & 2 Depart USA We fly over the international date line on our way to Melbourne, Australia.
Day 3 Arrive Melbourne (2 nights) On arrival we are transferred to our hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 4 Melbourne sightseeing & at leisure Today's morning sightseeing tour features the beautiful Botanic Gardens. We'll also see the Queen Victoria Market, the Shrine of Remembrance, Parliament House and more. Then time for shopping or perhaps take a relaxing walk.(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 5 Melbourne — Ayers Rock This morning we will board our flight to Ayers Rock where we visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Later, after sparkling wine at sunset we will enjoy a barbecue dinner. Time for stargazing too! (Buffet Breakfast) (Highlight Dinner)
Day 6 Ayers Rock — Alice Springs (2 nights) We watch sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock) plus there is an opportunity for those who wish to climb to the summit. Later, we make our way to the unique town of Alice Springs. (Buffet Breakfast).
Day 7 Alice Springs at leisure A day at leisure. Perhaps join a Palm Valley Safari or an Aboriginal cultural tour. Tonight, why not dine in one of the Alice's fine restaurants" (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 8 Alice Springs — Darwin (2 nights) This morning we visit the Alice Springs Desert Park. Then, we take our midday flight to Darwin. The rest of the day is free. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 9 - Kakadu National Park We travel deep into Kakadu National Park stopping at Nourlangie Rock to view its Aboriginal rock art. Next we join a Yellow Water Billabong cruise with our local expert guide followed by a visit to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre. (Buffet Breakfast)
DAY 10 Darwin Darwin — Cairns (3 nights) We fly to Cairns. This afternoon you - ll encounter unique Australian animals at the Cairns Wildlife Dome. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 11 - Cairns — Great Barrier Reef Cruise This morning we join the Great Adventures catamaran and cruise to the Great Barrier Reef. There is the opportunity to go snorkelling and view this natural wonder up close. Enjoy a delicious tropical buffet lunch before returning to Cairns. (Buffet Breakfast) (Highlight Lunch)
Day 12 Cairns at Leisure A full day at leisure. You may wish to take an excursion on the Skyrail Cableway to Kuranda or a trip to the rainforest of Cape Tribulation. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 13 - Cairns — Sydney (4 nights) We fly from Cairns to Sydney for four fabulous nights. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 14 Sydney sightseeing & at Leisure Sightseeing today includes the Harbour Bridge and a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. We enjoy a luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour. Later you - ll have the chance to learn about Australia's national gemstone — the Opal. (Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Lunch
Day 15 & 16 Sydney at Leisure Enjoy two full days at leisure in this exciting city. Maybe join an excursion to the Blue Mountains or perhaps take a tour to Canberra. ((Buffet Breakfast / Buffet Breakfast)
Day 17 Sydney — USA After breakfast, we transfer you to the airport for your return flight home. (Buffet Breakfast)
