Sightseeing Highlights
- Shanghai: Stroll the famed Bund waterfront promenade. Enjoy the peaceful Yu Yuan Gardens.
- Nanjing: Visit the Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen. Browse the Qing Dynasty-style bazaar and explore the Confucian Temple.
- Huangshan: Famous for rocky, mist-enshrouded peaks, interestingly shaped pine trees and clear mountain springs.
- Wuhan: Explore the Hubei Provincial Museum.
- Yangtze River Cruise: Hear a lecture on China's history from a local river guide. Visit the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric power project. Voyage down the Lesser Three Gorges, depending on water levels. Sail through Wu gorge and Qutang Gorge.
- Chongqing: Cruise to the 3,000-year-old former capital of China. Visit the giant pandas at the zoo.
- Fengdu: Tour the temples on Mingshan Hill. Depending on water levels, an alternative visit to Shibaozai or Wanzhou will be made.
