Day 1 - Depart North America
Day 2 - Arrive Beijing (3 nights) Arrive in Beijing and be greeted by a Trafalgar Tour Director who will escort you to your hotel.
Day 3 - Beijing Tour the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Next, admire the Summer Palace, one of China's largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. And, at the end of the day, indulge in a succulent Peking Duck dinner. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Highlight Dinner)
Day 4 - Beijing Walk along the Great Wall and visit the Ming Tombs, home to the lavish burial chambers of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. End your day with refreshments and a traditional Beijing Opera performance. (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Highlight Dinner)
Day 5 - Beijing — Xi'an (2 nights) Ride in a rickshaw for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hutongs (ancient lanes and alleyways). Later in the day, fly to Xi - an and transfer to your hotel. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Highlight Dinner)
Day 6 - Xi'an Visit the Terracotta Warriors and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Savor a delicious dumpling lunch, and in the evening delight in a Tang Dynasty dinner and cultural show. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Highlight Dinner)
Day 7 - Xi'an - Chongqing Fly from Xi - an to Chongqing. In the afternoon, you - ll be delighted with a visit to the zoo for a glimpse of a giant panda. Spend the evening at your hotel. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 8 - Cruising the Yangtze River (6 nights) Board your Victoria Cruises ship and sail along the Yangtze. Downriver visit the "Ghost City," Fengdu, and tour the temples on Mingshan Hill. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 9 - Cruising the Yangtze River Sail through Qutang Gorge, the grandest gorge of them all and Wu Gorge, with its majestic 12 mountain peaks. Then board a riverboat and embark on a voyage down the Lesser Three Gorges, depending on water levels. It's an enchanting and tranquil journey that will take you through "Dragon Gate," "Misty Gorge" and "Emerald Gorge." (Buffet Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 9 - Cruising the Yangtze River Sail through Qutang Gorge, the grandest gorge of them all and Wu Gorge, with its majestic 12 mountain peaks. Then board a riverboat and embark on a voyage down the Lesser Three Gorges, depending on water levels. Day 11 - Cruising the Yangtze River to Wuhan Tour Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province and a fusion of three cities that span both banks of the Yangtze. Explore the Hubei Provincial Museum. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 12 - Cruising the Yangtze River to Huangshan Discover why countless painters and poets have been lured to the landscape of Huangshan and its environs. Enjoy a full day tour of this enchanting area, depending on weather and/or road conditions. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 13 - Cruising the Yangtze River to Nanjing In Nanjing's Old Town, you - ll visit the Mausoleum of Sun Yat-sen. You - ll also have time to browse the Qing Dynasty-style bazaar and explore the Confucian Temple. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 14 Cruising the Yangtze River to Shanghai (2 nights) Disembark your ship and enjoy the many splendors of Shanghai by taking a stroll through Old Town and then along the Bund. Enjoy the peaceful Yu Yuan Gardens, and visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. During the evening be dazzled by the amazing Shanghai Acrobats. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Day 15 - Tongli to Shanghai A charming town, Tongli is the China of picture books, complete with narrow streets, elegant homes, teahouses and intriguing shops. (Buffet Beakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
