Explore fascinating India during this 18-day Regional Discovery! Begin in the country's capital city, Delhi, where you - ll visit the Jama Mosque, Red Fort, and the Gandhi Memorial Museum. Next, fly to the holiest of Hindu pilgrim cities, Varanasi, to view the devotional bathing ritual in the Ganges and to visit the Bharat Temple. In Khajuraho, visit the mysterious Temples of Love and the impressive Medieval Palace Complex. Then travel by train to Agra, where you will see the legendary Taj Mahal, the Agra Fort, and the Moti Masjid. Continue to the "Pink City" of Jaipur with its amazing Amber Fort and the Hawa Mahal; to Udaipur for a cruise on Lake Pichola and visits that include Jag Mandir, the City Palace, and the Jain Temples of Nagda; and on to Cochin where you - ll visit St. Thomas Church, the Jewish Synagogue, and Dutch Palace, and experience a backwaters cruise past palm trees and paddy fields.
