Start your trip in Tel Aviv and travel to Caesarea with visits to the Roman Amphitheater and the impressive Crusader fortress. Then travel to the ancient fortified city of Megiddo, regarded as one of the most important biblical sites in Israel. Journey to Muhraqa and to Haifa, a city with a long history dating back to biblical times, where you visit the Baha'i Shrine, the world center of Baha'i faith. In Acre, tour the excavated part of the immense underground Crusader city. Then journey to Nazareth in Galilee, where you visit St. Joseph's Church; Cana—site of the miracle where Jesus changed water into wine at a wedding; and Lake Tiberias. Arrive at Kibbutz Ginosar and enjoy an evening lecture on kibbutz life.
On the way to Jerusalem, visit Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his Sermon on the Mount, and stop at important biblical sites such as Bet She'an with its fine Roman and Byzantine relics. Also enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Galilee. In Jerusalem, enjoy excursions to Ein Karem and Bethlehem, where you visit the Church of the Nativity, which stands on the site where Jesus was born. Excursions are also included to Masada and the Dead Sea, the lowest point on the surface of the earth. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old City to see the highlights. Visit the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, Via Doloroso, the Wailing Wall, and more. In Jerusalem, you have a full day at leisure to relax or to join an optional excursion that includes visits to the Israel Museum with the Shrine of the Book and the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Holocaust Memorial in Yad Vashem, and more.
