IBERIAN VACATION
Overview Click map for larger sizeThis vacation concentrates on the southern part of the fantastic Iberian Peninsula. Two-night stays in Madrid, Lisbon, and Seville allow time for in-depth sightseeing and include visits to important sights, like Madrid's Prado Museum, Lisbon's Jeronimos Monastery, and Seville's cathedral with Columbus' tomb. The overnight stay in Tangier introduces you to Morocco, with a panoramic drive to Cap Spartel and a guided visit of the colorful Grand Socco Market. Ferry crossings over the Strait of Gibraltar afford spectacular views of the Rock. A full day at leisure at Costa del Sol affords the opportunity to join an optional excursion to the Rock of Gibraltar. On to Granada with a Local Guide to visit the famed Alhambra and Water Gardens of the Generalife. Enjoy vistas of olive and orange groves and the rolling Andalusian hills as you travel through Don Quixote's La Mancha and stop in Toledo on the way back to Madrid.
